The Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association  was organized in 1940. In March 2015 the general membership voted to begin using the name Oregon Government Finance Officers Association to include more finance professionals in Oregon and to better align with the national organization GFOA. OGFOA promotes professionalism and excellence in public financial management. In pursuit of our mission, OGFOA  is committed to:

    • Fostering individual professional growth.

    • Advancing the profession.

    • Furthering standards and policies for the benefit of our communities and our members.

    • Monitoring and reviewing legislative and judicial activities as they relate to our membership.
